Valley Bak born 1975, Plantation, Florida is a New York based Artist and Critical Care Registered Nurse whose work examines the relationship between medicine, the creative process and meditation. Valley’s experience of working with patients on the thresholds of life and death in Cardio Thoracic Critical Care brings a unique perspective and depth to her work. A self-taught artist born with a visual impairment, Valley has been visually processing the outer world through painting since early childhood.
